A symposium was held to commemorate the 630th anniversary of the arrival of the thirty-six Kume family members to Ryū.

A commemorative symposium was held at 13:00 on March 18, 2020 at the 3rd floor auditorium of the Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum to commemorate the 630th anniversary of the arrival of the thirty-six Kume families to Okinawa.

Part I Lecture (13:25-15:45)

The lecture was entitled “Shuri Royal Palace and Kume Village (Kuninda) – Cultivating history and pioneering the future”, and the following people gave lectures on the day.

The opening location was originally intended for 150 people, but thankfully over 300 people applied to participate, and 200 people came on a first-come, first-served basis.
