The Shoto Ceremony is a ceremony held once a year as a state event (ceremony) in the Ryukyu Kingdom to honor the achievements of Confucius and his beloved disciples (Yanzi, Zengzi, Zisizi, Mencius) during their lifetime. It’s an event.
On September 28, which is said to be Confucius’ birthday, pigs, fish, chickens, sweets, fruits, sugar cane, silk fabrics, alcohol, etc. are offered at Kume Shisei Shrine, and the Shisei Gate is opened only on this day. Masu.
