A relocation ritual during which the statue and deity tablets of Confucius and Four Disciples were moved from Shisei-byou at Wakasa district to new facilities. On June 15th 2013, the representatives clad in official ceremonial garb called kurocho loaded a deity tablet onto mikoshi (a portable shrine), led a procession with hatagashira (banner-bearers) from Kumoji and Kume district. Upon arriving at new Shisei-byou, the Confucius’ statue and deity tablet were placed at the altar with offerings such as incense and sake. A prayer was offered as the relocation ritual concluded. Please see the video footage at YouTube that showed the sequences of the prayer offering and relocation ritual.
